Today, SAIC Group's hydrogen strategy release and SAIC MAXUS EUNIQ7 unveiling ceremony were held at Crowne Plaza Shanghai Yingyi, which is also the first official appearance of SAIC MAXUS's first hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, MAXUS EUNIQ 7. Its biggest highlight is that it is equipped with fuel cells, which also makes it the world's first MPV model equipped with fuel cells. Wang Xiaoqiu said that in the next five years, SAIC will strive to achieve the four goals of "ten, hundred, thousand, and ten thousand": that is, by 2025, at least ten fuel cell vehicle products will be launched, and JieHydrogen Technology will reach a market value of tens of billions of dollars. A fuel cell R&D and operation team with more than 1,000 people has formed a production and sales scale of 10,000-level fuel cell vehicles, with a market share of more than 10%. By 2025, SAIC's self-developed fuel cell system will achieve cumulative sales of more than 30,000 sets, becoming the leader of domestic self-developed fuel cell systems. By 2030, SAIC will become a fuel cell vehicle manufacturer with complete independent intellectual property rights and global competitiveness.

High safety, fast hydrogen refueling, long cruising range, high technology content


EUNIQ 7 is equipped with the PROMEP390 fuel cell system of JieHydrogen Technology, a subsidiary of SAIC Motor. The hydrogen fuel cell system of EUNIQ 7 adopts a high-activity alloy catalyst, which has improved the catalytic efficiency by 20% compared with the international mainstream brand of hydrogen fuel cell passenger cars. %; its built-in 85000r/min oil-free centrifugal air compressor can continuously provide enough pure air for the electrochemical reaction, which is more efficient and ensures the stable operation of the stack. EUNIQ 7 uses a 70MPa hydrogen storage system, provided by Shanghai Shunhua New Energy System Co., Ltd., and is made of aerospace-grade carbon fiber materials. Its cycle life is as high as 11,000 times. At the same time, the bottle valve seal has reached the submarine-level standard, and the critical burst pressure is greater than 175 MPa, combined with dozens of high-precision technologies such as hydrogen injection valve and hydrogen circulation pump, jointly created the world-leading vehicle performance of EUNIQ 7.


The excellent performance of EUNIQ 7 also perfectly solves the problem of mileage anxiety. It only takes 3 minutes to fill up the 6.4kg high-pressure hydrogen bottle of EUNIQ 7. Its NEDC cruising range can be 605km, the hydrogen consumption per 100 kilometers is 1.18kg, and the cost per kilometer is only 0.4 yuan. At the same time, EUNIQ7 can achieve the world's cutting-edge low-temperature start-up of -30 °C, and adopts the heating technology of residual heat of the stack, and there is almost no mileage attenuation in low temperature climates.


It is worth mentioning that EUNIQ 7 passed the first crash test with the perfect result of "the hydrogen bottle is intact and the system has no leakage", which proves the excellent quality of the EUNIQ 7 body and hydrogen system.
